Jada Council Chairman Congratulates Fintiri on TV Africa’s Northeast Best Governor Award
The Chairman of Jada Local Government Council in Adamawa State, Hon. Salihu Mohammed, has congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on his recent recognition as the Best Governor in the Northeast by TV Africa.
In a statement issued in Jada on Monday, Hon. Mohammed described the award as a well-deserved honour that reflects Governor Fintiri’s unwavering commitment to good governance, people-centred development, and security in Adamawa and the region at large.
He commended the governor’s achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and rural development, noting that these efforts have significantly transformed the lives of citizens across the state.
“This recognition by TV Africa is not only a personal honour for His Excellency but a source of pride for all of us in Adamawa State,” Mohammed said. “It validates the transformative leadership Governor Fintiri has brought to the table, which has set a benchmark in governance not just in Adamawa, but across the Northeast.”
The council chairman particularly highlighted the governor’s strides in expanding access to quality education and revamping healthcare facilities in rural communities. He also praised the administration’s focus on inclusive governance, which he said has created opportunities for grassroots development.
Hon. Mohammed assured the governor of continued support from the people of Jada Local Government, adding that the council would align its programmes with the policies of the state government to ensure sustained progress.
He urged other leaders in the region to emulate Governor Fintiri’s model of purposeful and accountable leadership.
TV Africa, a continental media platform, announced the award over the weekend, citing Governor Fintiri’s performance and reforms as key reasons for the honour.
